Welcome to the Faculty of Commerce, Law and Management

The Faculty of Commerce, Law and Management aims to contribute to an advancement of governance, justice and economic development through developing and increasing knowledge and skills.

The Faculty consists of five schools:

• School of Accountancy- Pass rates for SAICA board exams well above the national average
• School of Economic and Business Sciences- Repeat winner of Professional Management Review (PMR) Golden and Silver arrow awards for best business courses
• School of Law - Founded in 1922, the School of Law has built a reputation as South Africa's premier centre for legal education
• Graduate School of Business Administration- Voted Best MBA Programme in South Africa (Financial Mail Survey Ranking the MBAs Survey)
• Graduate School of Public and Development Management- Quality management education for leaders and decision-makers in the public and development fields

In addition the Faculty offers its undergraduate B Com degree on a part time study basis

There are five major teaching and research centres attached to Schools in the Faculty:
