The Oliver Schreiner School of Law is one of Africa's finest law schools, and one of the most influential legal institutions in South Africa. It comprises:
- The School of Law, its central teaching core.
- The first and largest Law Clinic in South Africa, which not only provides legal assistance to indigent clients but also provides law students with practical experience.
- The Centre for Applied Legal Studies, which spearheads legal research and advocacy.
- The Mandela Institute which conducts research, develops policy and offers advanced teaching in global economic law.
