Welcome to the School of Construction Economics & Management


The John Moffat BuildingThe School of Construction Economics and Management is part of the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment.

The School is at the forefront of creating wealth by providing society with well-educated, entrepreneurial graduates in Construction Management Studies and Honours, Quantity Surveying Studies and Honours and Property Studies programmes at the undergraduate, postgraduate diploma, masters and doctorate levels.
   

The School offers the following programmes:

 
  • BSc in Quantity Surveying Studies BSc (QSS) .
  • BSc in Quantity Surveying Studies BSc (Hons) QSS
  • BSc in Construction Management Studies BSc (CMS)
  • BSc in Construction Management Studies BSc (Hons) CMS
  • BSc in Property Studies

The total student headcount (undergraduate and postgraduate) stands at over 550 as at 2009 with a continuous staff complement of 8 full-time and 17 part-time academic and 5 support services staff.
